Ray 1 & 1st Initiation (The Birth): The initial drive to align the personal will with the Divine Will. It is the first "push" into a spiritual life.

Ray 2 & 2nd Initiation (The Baptism): Mastering the emotional body through Love and Wisdom. Developing the "sensitive" nature required for higher service.

Ray 3 & 3rd Initiation (The Transfiguration): Integrating the mental body. Using Active Intelligence to manifest the Soul’s intent without the interference of the lower mind.

Ray 4 & 4th Initiation (The Renunciation): The bridge. The "vacuum" where the lower ego is sacrificed. It is the struggle for balance between the human and the Divine.

Ray 5 & 5th Initiation (The Revelation): Discerning Truth with "surgical precision." This is often where the initiate achieves a direct vision of the Plan and the Atmic field.

Ray 6 & 6th Initiation (The Decision): Total devotion to a specific path of Higher Evolution. Choosing which of the seven cosmic paths to tread.
